The Student Party
We are a party of dedicated and engaged students from several different programs and associations around the university. We want to put the needs of the students first, implement realistic and pragmatic improvements and lift all students' voices. We know what the union, the students and the campus needs.
ELECTION ISSUES
Better student finances: The students of Stockholm can’t make ends meet. We need cheaper literature, better access to housing, affordable lunches and more CSN.
Better wellness: Not all students have the same opportunities to study. Regardless of whether you are an adult or newly out of high school the union and the university should provide resources to assist you and take care of students rights.
Better campus life: In order to have a good campus life we need active associations and events that welcome everyone with great ways to enjoy your time at university for a wide range of interests. It is also important that there are physical premises available to be used by students for social activities.
PARTY CANDIDATES
1. Hermela Embaye
What are you studying? Postcolonial perspectives on audiovisual media.
Why vote for you in the Student Union Election? Because I have a genuine interest in student rights and PhD rights, and a broad experience of student influence; student council, faculty council, union representative, student representative in the disciplinary committee, etc.
Best student memory? When I was involved in organizing HumF's kick-off. It was my first experience with a student union and taught me the value of a vibrant union life at SU; how rewarding it is both for those who take part in it and those who organize it.
2. Martin Adolfsson
What are you studying? Physics!
Why vote for you in the Student Union Election? I have broad experience from many different parts of student life and have a good grasp of how the student union works. Because of this, I believe that I have a good ability to handle the challenges that the student union and students face.
Best student memory? My favorite memory is the Carnival Parade 2023.

What are you studying? Studying the last year of the international program in public health.
Why vote for you in the Student Union Election? In addition to the time I studied, I have also been extremely involved in the areas where students can exercise influence. As Chairman of the Natural Sciences Association for two years but also as a student representative in my Student Council and both in SUS and partner organizations such as SSCO.
Best student memory? Working under the Students Nobel Night when I was part of the 2019 project group!
5. Sindre Becker
What are you studying? I am studying for a Bachelor's degree in mathematics.
Why vote for you in the Student Union Election? You should vote for me because I want to get more involved in improving students' time here at the university.
Best student memory? My best student memory is from when we in Naturvetarspexet finished our performances, sat in Gröna villa and sang songs together.
6. Anna Agervig Kristiansson
What are you studying? Meteorology, oceanography and climate physics.
Why vote for you in the Student Union Election? I have a background from different parts of the student world, where I have, been vice president of one of the student associations on campus, been part on study councils and subject councils and in project groups for projects that are run for all students in Stockholm, not just at SU. This has given me a solid foundation of experience about students' needs in order to make the study time as good as possible.
Best student memory? To be a student attaché for the Nobel laureates who visited the SUS luciabal. Then I met them before the prom and then guided them through everything that a Swedish prom means!
7. Joacim Ekengren
What are you studying? The school counselor program.
Why vote for you in the Student Union Election? As a student who has now studied here for a while, I know how stressful life as a student can be mentally, but also for the wallet. A prosperous student life that can make new students feel more welcomed and I want more people to experience the community that I myself have experienced.
Best student memory? When I joined the Teachers' Club Mastery. It opened up a new world within the student world for me, and the community that exists there is really something that was needed for me. It was also what sparked my interest in student life.
8. Martin Hansson
What are you studying? Bachelor's program in computer and systems science.
Why vote for you in the Student Union Election? I think I have a wide range of experience, from several student organizations. The entire student movement is facing several challenges and uncertainties and I want to help SUS come out stronger. It is important that the student union is accessible and supportive to all students at Stockholm University.
Best student memory? The first time I really felt like part of the student movement was the Campus Council meeting in 2022. I think it's incredibly nice that various people involved at SU gather and celebrate together. It is my best student memory.

What are you studying? I am currently studying mathematics and computer science, in the autumn hopefully a supplementary pedagogical education.
Why vote for you in the Student Union Election? I am interested and engaged in most things, always delve into questions and come up with creative solutions that others have not thought of.
Best student memory? Frejden 2022 of D6 at LTU!
